2) We're staying with the in-laws this weekend but haven't decided what to do. Perhaps Sea World and Despicable Me.
3) My daughter is a dumpster. I am starting to wonder if she even has taste buds. She eats anything and everything, most of the time having no reaction whatsoever, just shoving in fistfulls. Case in point, the other day at lunch she was given a black olive and gobbled it up! Seriously if she doesn't gain a pound this month I will be shocked.
4) Speaking of which I finally got the dreaded blood work done on her. After an unsuccessful attempt (and 4 pokes later) before we left for the south I finally went again today and they were successful. Poor girl, I'm telling ya she's not getting anymore blood drawn unless she looks sick or starts losing weight!
5) I'm really missing my sewing machine, after all absence makes the heart grow fonder. You know what else does? Boredom! Hopefully this separation will give me the motivation I need to work through my project list, Christmas is right around the corner!
6) I'VE POSTED EVERYDAY THIS WEEK!! And I'm beyond proud of myself. Don't get used to this folks, while I am trying very hard to post more regularly I don't feel I'll ever be able to keep the everyday posts going.
7) Tigger is quickly becoming an all inclusive part of this family, traveling to many places we do. Only a matter of time before they are attached at the hip! In fact I hear her crying because mean ole Daddy took him away so she could eat.
8) "Honey I'm just warning you that we are probably going to run out of gas any minute now." Yeah not something you want to hear when your sweaty and starving! Thankfully we did not and now we know the gas light comes on a full 2 miles before you run out of gas! Not that I'm going to test it again but the need to freak out as soon as the gas light comes on has gone away. Still what an interesting ride home from Sea World it was. And yes we obviously did end up going there which is the exact reason this is so late!
That's about it for today, my brain is shot and I'm exhausted. Why is it that the heat takes so much out of you? As always for more randomness visit Alexis over at The Well Read Mom!
