BBQ Chicken Pizza
I made this a couple weeks ago and am just now remembering to post it. I will say, however, that it was DELICIOUS! I was a bit apprehensive at first because the sheer thought of bbq sauce instead of spaghetti sauce weirded me out a bit, I thought it would be too bbq-y. That was not the case, I was addicted to this pizza and it was definitely the best homemade pizza I have made. It's hard to do a recipe since I didn't measure and I used leftovers but I can guesstimate and frankly pizza making isn't rocket science so I am sure if you decided to try it you'd figure it out!
Ingredients:
1/3 cup bbq sauce
pizza dough
1/2 small onion finely diced
1 - 1 1/2 cups shredded bbq chicken (chicken mixed in bbq sauce)
cheddar cheese (1-2 cups depending on how big the pizza is and how cheesy you like it, again not rocket science)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°. Form pizza dough into a crust (either rectangle or round depending on your pan). Cook your pizza crust for about 5 mins, you don't need it to be fully cooked just kinda cooked. Spread bbq sauce on the crust. Put the onion and bbq chicken on the crust and top with cheddar cheese. Bake for ~ 10 mins or until cheese is melted. ENJOY!
