Our first zucchini of the season!! It's about time but it's a beauty.
The overgrown herb garden before I hacked it last week. I now have an entire baby food jar of dried rosemary and have an entire bunch of basil still drying!
The extreme weather and being away from home has killed off my herbs. My parsley is okay and the rosemary is doing great but my dill is destroyed and my basil is barely hanging on.
Well don't get down too much. Give the basil a chance...I was sure ours was going to die after planting it but it didn't! It lost all the leaves and the stems were brown, really pathetic looking. They stayed that was for a while and then all of a sudden they went crazy.
I have also convinced myself that rosemary could withstand a nuclear bomb! That seems like some hearty stuff. As for the dill that sucks but you were having trouble using it up anyway. Just keep giving them some TLC and see what happens over the next couple months...you may be surprised!
