- So for those of you out in cyberspace who don't personally know me (if there are any) I broke my arm and just found out Tuesday, had a cast put on then and all has been pretty good. Feeling much better since there is no more sharp pain going into my fingers.
- Now the cast is no big deal but it has posed a few
problemschallenges. For instance something as simple as putting on a bra...not so simple anymore. All I have to say about that is thank goodness I use the front hook ones anyway. Other challenges: shaving my right armpit, not mauling my DD, and taking a "quick" shower.
- Another annoying thing this club on my arm seems to bring about, annoying people and their comments. I literally had a perfectly normal looking guy ask me (with all seriousness) "Uh, did you hurt your hand or something?". Seriously people is the big purple club on the hand not enough of an indicator. No it's not hurt at all, casts are all the rage this season!!
- Now last night we moved the treadmill back inside, a fact at which I don't like but I figured was my best solution for still exercising with the DH out of town and a broken arm. Reason I don't like this, it takes up 1/6 of our living space and another 1/3 is taken up by dining room table and couches. May not seem like a big deal but imagine the size of the space I am talking about if the treadmill is 1/6. Now imagine that space with 2 couches, a table, 2 young kids and ALL THEIR STUFF!! I know I am not unique in this situation but when I can free up some extra space I'm all for it and when I have to deduct from that space I don't like it!
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!
- I laugh everytime I see the DD move. It is hysterical and because of this we have nicknamed her the inchworm for from this point on that will be her name on here. She has also decided that she is going to move however she can, this means scooting while she's sitting, the inchworm and the logroll.
- The little Inchworm has also learned to sit from a lying position. Each time I go to rescue her from the crib she is just all smiles and giggles as she sits up watching me. She turned 11 months yesterday and is growing up way to fast! In fact I need to get my act together about the big birthday.

Casts are all the rage this season...wow. I could almost understand "how did you hurt your arm?" but really, I think the fact that it is hurt is pretty much implied by the cast. I love people.
ReplyDeleteThe space thing is so hard, I feel like I can not look at even a single square inch of this place without wanting to flip because there is just. so. much. stuff! At least you can keep running to nowhere to keep your mind off it all :)
Alexis I could get "How/when/what" with the arm thing but the fact he asked if it was hurt, really?! I have had a totally absurd thing happen each day I have had this thing. I didn't even write about yesterdays encounter at the playground!
ReplyDeleteI know you have a big space issue too! Probably even a bit worse since I don't think you could even fit a treadmill in your living space. There's just stuff, everywhere, and I feel like I can't climb out. I'll be having a yardsale in a couple weeks so hopefully that will get rid of most of the baby gear and clothes that have morphed into a mountain. I'm going to be ripping into the closets before we know it!
