So today was one of those days I wish I had a phone with a decent camera so that I could have taken a picture on the sly. Seriously I was shocked at how busy Target was!
The lines were so long that you couldn't even get through the gigantic main path!!
It was an absolute madhouse. Who knew back to school was just as crazy as Christmas? I sure didn't but it must be because it brought back horrid memories for the dreaded "holiday shopping season" (which is probably why I do my shopping ealry). I could only imagine it was the back to school crowd because it certainly isn't Black Friday.
Perhaps some of it was the fact it was Sunday and I tend to do my shopping during the day, during the week but that couldn't possibly explain the sea of people moseying along oblivious to everyone around them. Not to mention the hoards of midshipmen buying bins; not the green one but the black one...but not that black one, the other black one...you get the idea! And since they come in groups of no less than 4 they take up the entire aisle.
And the children, don't even get me started on the children!!!
Needless to say I will be making sure to hit Target during the week when all I have to worry about are my own screaming children.
