Free Your Mind Fridays

• The cast is gone!! A fact at which I am highly excited about (minus the increased pain). I have been thoroughly enjoying the whole “just jump into the shower whenever I want” part of it, not to mention washing my hair with two hands!
  
  
• I now am left with a faux cast!! It’s HOT! I never would have thought that I would tan this much in just 3 weeks. I won’t mention the icky red bumps and peeling that has been taking place all week. Judging by the amount of skin peeling off however, I don’t see this being a problem for long.
  
  
• The Inchworm has turned into a complete and utter terror on four limbs!! She is everywhere, into everything all the time!! Pretty soon she will be gated into a 6x6 square in the center of the floor. Worst part about it: when you tell her no she laughs in your face!
  
  
• Speaking of the little Inchworm again she has started “talking” suddenly. Just this week she has started saying whoa, hi, and up. Granted they aren’t crystal clear, except whoa, but we are talking about 12 month old language.
  
  
• 3 weeks down, 1 TO GO!!!! The end is near and I’m excited. The DH gets back just in time for his birthday and Inchworms birthday the very next day.
  
  
• One fun thing about San Diego: earthquakes! The DH experienced his first earthquake this week, he was a bit wierded out about the whole thing and I can’t say I blame him.
  
  
• I bought the DH his father/birthday gift this week and I really hope he likes it! If he doesn’t I may just have to confiscate it as my own.
  
  
• So it’s official, I’m delusional! I have now decided that I am going to make my little girl a party dress. Why am I delusional you ask? Well you see I haven’t touched the sewing machine in a good 3 months except for tailoring clothes. Add to this the fact that I have never made a dress and that the party is in 2 weeks. Yep, delusional! My back up is a tutu which is much more likely to actually happen. We shall see.
  
  
• The family and I are headed to Hershey Park tomorrow which should be fun but it is going to be blazing hot which isn’t so fun. Last year the DS had a blast riding all the rides and this year he’s taller so he can probably get on even more.
  
  
• I have a date with the DS today to go see Toy Story 3!! I am looking forward to it since I don’t get much time alone with him. I also think it’s going to be a cute movie, I just hope it’s not too crazy since plans changed and I now have to go in the evening instead of during the day.
