- I am pretty peeved that I was woken up from a fabulous dream, of which I have no recollection of anymore, at 5 am by my DS calling out "wipe my butt Mama!". Yes I think today is the day we'll be starting butt wiping boot camp!
- If you hadn't guessed already today has been a morning. Thankfully Inchworm seems to be back on track and slept until almost 7 but the DS has been waking earlier than normal (5am) for the past couple weeks. And I burned pancakes, doesn't seem like a big deal, but I never burn pancakes. I am a bit of a pancake master at my house, potentially due to the fact I have made no less than 2,176 of them since my children were born.
- Thankfully I have a couple of friends coming over for some margaritas and baking. Can't get much better than that!
- Speaking of the Inchworm, she is quite literally a vacuum. Anything and everything goes in that mouth and when I rush over to get said mystery item out of her hand she shoves it in as fast as she can! All I can say is thank goodness she's cute.
- Also little Inchworm, if you could stop screaming at the top of your lungs the entire time we are in the store I would greatly appreciate it!!
- Since this seems to be a child heavy FYMF post I'll keep with the trend, the DS has actually been quite good this week. A fact at which I am grateful for since it's just them and me for the next 3 weeks. The attitude seems to be resting a bit and his ears seem to be working again. Funny, for a while there I thought they were broken.
- We have survived week 1 of the DH being gone, 3 more to go!! A month is like chump change as far as deployment goes however, we have been through much worse.
- **Fingers crossed** In 11 more days this cast should be off!! I hope I didn't just jinx myself. I won't be scott free but a splint will be a welcome change. I can take that off.
- Relay For Life is this Saturday and I am excited. While I am not going to even attempt to stay up all night I do plan to be there until midnight. Also I am almost to my goal for fundraising which I am thrilled about since I just signed up a week ago (due to uncertainty about CA). A HUGE thanks go out to my MIL and my MOM who made such generous donations! I also just signed up for the 2010 Strides Against Breast Cancer walk and am more excited about that since breast cancer has touched our family personally.
- Good grief! Never knew 1 pancake could make so. much. MESS.
