A Bit of Bragging!

So around the holidays I started couponing. I follow a few bargin blogs and started buying the paper. I have saved a TON of money doing this and get excited everytime I have a great shopping trip. I usually don't post about it because who really cares about this but me?

Anyway lately I have been a bit bummed because it seemed like there hadn't been many good deals and I wasn't doing as well as I had before. That it, until this week!

I have had 3 good shopping trips this week and it's renewed my interest in couponing and has showed me why I do it! It does take a bit of time but the bargain blogs out there have done all the work for you so it doesn't take as much time as you would think.

Well I had a great trip to CVS for some essentials, a fabulous trip to Target earlier this week where I got $83 worth of goodies for $46 and today my Safeway trip!

So here is a picture of everything I bought. Any guesses to how much I actually spent?

What's here:

8 boxes of various cereal
3 bags shredded chese
3 packages of Kraft singles
dozen eggs
1 Eating Well frozen meal
2 Motrin PM 20ct
1 YoPlus yougurt
3 bags NV Granola Nut Clusters
1 box NV Granola bars
3 jars Classico spaghetti sauch
2 boxes Safeway brand pasta
1 drinkable smoothie (not pictured)
1 coke zero (not pictured)
Parmesan cheese

Well I spent $11.41 out of pocket!!! For all this, I really couldn't believe it. I saved $85 in coupons! So forgive me if this totally bored you but hey you have the choice to not read.

If this little post has peaked your interest here are 2 of my favorite bargain blogs (once on their pages you can find many more)!

Totally Target - As the title states this is all things to do with Target, sales, coupons, price cuts, clearance. She covers it all and even more not dealing with Target. If your a Target lover like me you need to check this out!

The other is The Crazy Coupon Lady. She deals with everything from free samples/offers to coupons for many different stores. Anything from Albertsons to Walgreens.
